Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actress and performer from America. She was awarded the best actress award for her performance in Nashville The 2012 drama in which she played Layla Grant. She also won the award in Sharknado 2013 in which she portrayed Claudia Shepard. She also was the lead character in the movie Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, grew up in Lake Mary Florida. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey was a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre during her childhood. Aubrey was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speaker of the class in 2012. Harvard University was willing to accept her. She declined the offer twice. It was the second time that it was due to her desire to perform in Nashville. Peeples played a role as a guest in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). She was in two made-for-television films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). The actress was cast in the role of a major regular in a second season of the drama show Nashville in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples revealed her bipolar disorder during an interview she conducted the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples as one of the top gifted actors under the age of 20 in September 2014
